St. George's

While working on this project, everywhere became my studio. But my favorite may have been my car studio! I drive by St. George's every day and always enjoy observing the effect of the light on the color and structure of the church steeple. I decided every time it caught my eye, I should stop and paint it! I had a bit of a Monet-like fascination. For days I came at sunrise, midday, and sunset, tried different angles and in different weather. I still hope to explore this subject more. This is sadly the only painting that survived an accident involving my little sister, a pug, and a water bottle.
