I recently received a scholarship to attend an art trip to New York City! I got to visit some of my favorite paintings and sketch at the MET. I attended the opening of the Sargent charcoal exhibit at the Morgan library with Sargent's grand nephew and historian, Richard Ormond, before visiting Babette Bloch's exhibition at National Arts Club, Mark Melon's show at the Century, the Salmagundi Club, and even going to the Players Club Hall of Fame dinner with my dad! We also visited Uncle Ev's country studio in Connecticut. It was an unbelievable week of art, history, and art!
